What is community engagement? why is it important?

Community engagement is vital for the transformation of justice systems. This essential process entails actively seeking input from diverse community members and relevant stakeholders, with the aim of fostering greater fairness and equity within the existing system. By engaging with those directly affected by the system, policymakers and officials can gain valuable insights to drive meaningful reform efforts and ensure that justice is truly accessible and just for all.
